The lampwork bead is in turquoise and cream with fine silver and is bookended by two gorgeous faceted carnelian rounds. The frame of the necklace is wire wrapped with gorgeous fire opal rondelles in various shades. The hoop is of hand patinated brass - I did the patination myself. The chain is antiqued brass.  The pendant on the necklace measures 1 3/4" (4.5 cm) across. The lampwork bead is 5/8" (2 cm) across. The chain - antiqued brass in big cable links - is 20" (51 cm) long and closes with a lobster claw clasp.

Beautiful dupioni silk fabric roses with hand sewn pearls, Swarovski crystals and a gorgeous vintage rhinestone necklace. Each rose was handmade by me and added to a silk dupioni backing. The necklace itself is made from natural pearls. This is a gorgeous piece for a wedding or a really fabulous party this holiday season. I love the soft pink of this necklace, but if you would like something similar in a different color, please contact me, and we'll work something out. The vintage necklace portion will be different, but that's what makes this piece so special.

The pearls measure 18" (46 cm) long, and the bib part is 5" (13 cm) wide at the top and is 5.5" (14 cm) from top to bottom. The clasp is a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.

I took color graduated fire opal rondelles, and wire wrapped them to an antiqued brass hoop. In between the rondelles are sterling silver beads on a very fine, non-tarnish silver colored wire. There are three crystal quartz briolettes hanging from the hoop, which has been soldered. I antique all my wire myself and the soldering was done by me. The whole thing hangs from gorgeous antiqued brass chain and I made the clasp myself from heavy guage brass wire.

The necklace measures 21" (53 cm) long. The pendant is 2.5" (6.5 cm) from the top of the hoop to the bottom of the crystals and is 2" (5 cm) wide. The fire opals are small - most are about 4 mm across. This is a really fabulous necklace.

This piece was in Jewelry Affaire magazine in April 2011. It's the first of the "rose and rhinestone" pieces I did. I started with just a vague idea and a bunch of satin roses I had made from a scrap piece of fabric. I got out an old rhinestone necklace - it wasn't valuable and the clasp had broken off - and laid everything out on the table. After moving some pieces around, I came up with what you see here - a stunning statement necklace fit for a queen. A few of the extra rhinestones from the necklace were handsewn to the roses for additional sparkle.

The roses are of cream colored satin and there are natural and glass pearls along with Swarovski crystals hand sewn all around them. The pearls are creamy white and chocolate brown. I hand sewed the rhinestone necklace to the backing as well, using two stitches between every stone for security. The strand going around the back of the neck is made of cultured pearls and Swarovski crystals.

The front piece measures 6.5" wide at its widest point and 5" inches high from the middle point. It is 18.5" long when the necklace is stretched out, and it closes with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp. There is an extender chain at the back with a Swarovski crystal dangle.

Cream colored silk roses with blue rhinestones, blue and purple pearls, and Swarovski crystals. This is a wonderful bridal piece. The necklace is also composed of pearls and Swarovski crystals around the neck. It closes with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp. The centerpiece measures 4.25" across at its widest point and is 3.5" from the top to the bottom of the rhinestone pendant.

The necklaces measures 18" around the neck, so it should sit just a couple of inches below your collarbone.

A mixed media necklaces using brass, fine silver, semi-precious gemstones and Swarovksi crystals along with a hand painted fabric rose. There's a brass butterfly, a precious metal clay dragonfly and key, autumn jasper stones and Swarovski crystals. All of it is on different weights of antiqued brass chain. The big hoops are antiqued brass wire that I soldered together when I was practicing my soldering techniques.

The necklace is 25" long, the rose is 2" across, the key is about 1" long, and the brass rings are approximately 1.75" across each.

This is a spectacular bib necklace. Like a true bib, this necklace ties in the back with linen ties. The roses on the front are linen and dupioni silk in chocolate brown. There are three layers of ruffles, two in linen and one in light cream chiffon. The roses are surrounded by natural and glass pearls and Swarovski crystals that have been hand sewn in place. The foundation and backing of the necklace are also in linen.

The necklace measures 10.5" (26.5 cm) across the widest point. It is 4" (10 cm) wide at the center point. The linen ties are 18" (46 cm) long and 3/4" (2 cm) wide.
