Handmade Purses and Clutches
In the spring of 2010, I looked at my pile of fabric and decided something needed to be done with them. The odds and ends of various projects were just sitting in storage, looking sad and forlorn. I took a deep breath and designed my first clutch. Then I fell in love. I started making more clutches and moved into shoulder bags. My biggest seller now are bridal sets - I customize the clutches to each lady's wedding as gifts for her bridesmaids.
Each bag is unique - the flowers may be different, the linings are often leftovers from other projects (I REALLY hate throwing out fabrics I can use), but every one of them has huge amounts of love poured into them. I LOVE my job. Each bag is fully lined, and the shoulder bags have pockets for smaller items like cell phones. The seams on all my bags are double stitched - I use one line of straight stitching and a second line of zigzag stitching on the body of the bag and in the lining. I hate it when linings get holes in them on purses I buy, so I do my very best to ensure the strength of my stitching.
I am always ready to accept custom orders - if there is a special piece of fabric or lace you want to use, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am more than happy to make you your very own special clutch or purse. I require 100% upfront payment for custom orders so I can order fabric and hardware. All my items are sent USPS First Class Mail or First Class International. If you require expedited shipping, please let me know, and I will invoice you for the extra postage.
