Torii Gate Style Necklace in Reticulated Silver with Lab Ruby

This necklace was styled after torii gates in Japan. The central panel is made from reticulation silver, which wrinkles and textures when heat is applied. The uprights, cross post, and other metal elements are sterling silver. The stone is a rose cut lab created ruby. 

The pendant is about 2" high and about 1.75" across the top. The chain is a large cable chain and measures 20" long. The silver has been oxidized and the polished a little to highlight the textures in the reticulated silver.
